Our Production Lead role will manage the critical final stage of the Carma production line. Based at our brand-new facility in Granville, this is an exciting opportunity to head up the operational team responsible for turning work-in-progress units into finished, customer-ready products. While automotive knowledge is a bonus, what we really value is proven leadership in a fast-paced production, assembly, or manufacturing environment. If you know how to drive line efficiency, champion strict quality control, and inspire a floor team to hit daily targets, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing?

- New Facility Launch: Be part of our foundational crew, embedding proven operational standards and consistent performance from day one.
- Identify Disruptions Early: Proactively monitor workflows to catch breaks in operational flow—such as growing queues, staging delays, or rework—before they impact production schedules or escalate into systemic failures.
- Own Your Section: Deliver daily production throughput, quality, and flow targets, keeping units moving efficiently through the line with zero compromise on operational standards.
- Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Solve the "why," not just the "what." Lead root cause analysis to eliminate operational friction at the source rather than treating symptoms, embedding permanent fixes across the production line.
- Process Optimisation: Take decisive action to refine methods, applying continuous improvement principles to eliminate waste, smooth transitions,



and elevate production efficiency and output quality.
- Quality Standardisation: Anchor operational consistency across the new facility by embedding and auditing strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks.
- High-Performance Leadership: Set clear production expectations, coach and develop team capability on the floor, and hold individuals accountable to high standards and safe work practices.

- You drive performance through people, inspiring a team rather than just managing tasks.
- You’ve got proven experience leading high-output teams in a fast-paced production environments (automotive is a bonus but not a necessity)
- You are capable of setting explicit standards, keeping energy high, and confidently addressing underperformance head-on.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and a natural instinct for identifying the root causes of problems.
- You pivot fast, adapt easily, and stay calm under pressure in a rapid-fire environment.
- Exposure to lean operations or continuous improvement environments is highly regarded (show us your Kaizen/Six Sigma grit!).
- Confidence operating on the floor - engaging, directing and supporting teams in real time
- You hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence
