Woodfrog Bakery is looking for a Baker to join our shaping and moulding team. This role starts as casual, with a real chance to move to full time or permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

Hand shape baguettes and other breads to the correct weight, size and shape – solid baguette shaping skills are a must

Help run the Rheon forming line with the team – loading, feeding dough, checking the product coming off and keeping the line moving

Follow directions from your supervisor and work in step with the rest of the shaping team

Make sure everything you shape is high standard and in line with Woodfrog quality standards – pull anything that doesn't look right

Check dough consistency and let the mixer or supervisor know if a batch is off

Keep up with the production schedule and line speed without losing quality





Keep your work area, tools and the Rheon line clean during and at the end of the shift

Follow food safety, HACCP and WHS procedures at all times

Help out in other areas (mixing, baking, pastry) when needed

About you

Experience in a bakery, with confident baguette and bread shaping by hand

A team player – we run the line together and we're looking for someone who fits in and pulls their weight

Happy to take direction and follow the way we do things at Woodfrog

Reliable, works well under pressure and takes pride in the quality of their work

Comfortable with early starts and physical work on your feet
