Happy Hearts Childcare & Kindergarten – Warner QLD

Happy Hearts Childcare and Kindergarten Warner is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Warner, QLD 4500. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and educating young children during their crucial formative years, creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters their developmental growth. This position is integral to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and care that supports the wellbeing, learning and development of every child in our care.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities and experiences that promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional development

Create and maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery

Observe and assess children's progress and development, documenting milestones and sharing observations with parents and carers

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and belonging

Implement behaviour guidance strategies that support children's social and emotional learning

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities and routines that meet the needs of all children

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and centre policies

Communicate regularly with families about their child's learning, development and experiences at the centre

Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice and maintain current knowledge





Support the implementation of curriculum frameworks and educational philosophies aligned with early childhood best practice

What we're looking for

A recognised early childhood teaching qualification (such as a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education)

Current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement

Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks, including the Australian Curriculum: Foundation to Year 10 and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and team members

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's holistic development

The ability to create inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

A sound understanding of child safeguarding, health and safety requirements in early childhood settings

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

Experience working collaboratively within a team environment

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
