Forklift Operator / Process Worker - Wanted

NX Blue is seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Process Workers to join a globally recognised manufacturer of commercial, medical and industrial gas products based in Wetherill Park.

These roles offer a mix of production, forklift operation and hands-on maintenance work, with ongoing training to develop your skills and knowledge onsite. We have opportunities across rotating day and afternoon shifts, with flexibility across both shifts highly regarded.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

- Sorting, inspecting and prefilling gas cylinders.
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
- Inspecting gas cylinders and learning to interpret cylinder labels, colours and product markings.
- Completing associated paperwork and product checks.
- Assisting with general production, process work and labouring duties.
- Supporting the maintenance team with gas cylinder repairs and basic maintenance activities.
- Working across multiple departments as required.




- Participating in ongoing training and following workplace health and safety procedures.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, labouring or a trade/maintenance environment.
- A valid LF forklift licence.
- At least two years' forklift operating experience, particularly loading and unloading trucks.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A willingness to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A reliable, hands-on attitude and a proactive approach to work.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Flexibility to work across day and afternoon shifts and multiple departments, highly regarded.
- The physical capability to regularly lift 15-20kg.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- The ability to obtain a suitable national police check.
- Their own initial PPE, including a long-sleeved hi-vis shirt, long pants and steel-cap boots. Work PPE will be provided following commencement.
