You'll sit at the centre of supply, production and finance. Working closely with engineering, the production team and our finance team, you'll make sure every build has an accurate bill of materials, the right stock allocated, long lead items on order early, and a clear picture of what each job really costs.
Key responsibilities
Create purchase orders, including for long lead time items, track incoming goods and follow up outstanding orders. Keep the internal team informed of any delivery changes.
Manage supplier relationships, including pricing reviews, price-increase updates and assessing new suppliers before opening accounts.
Manage stock, including stock turn, allocation to jobs and stock movements, and flag potential shortages early.
Build BOMs according to technical specifications and the scope of works for each trailer.
Assist with job costing, making sure material costs are accurately captured against each job.
Prepare presentations on inventory, procurement savings and other related operational reports.

Robust Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
Confident negotiating with suppliers and following up until parts arrive
