EDUCATORS REQUIRED WHO HOLD A DIPLOMA - Do you live in the Logan Area? Are you looking to work closer to home?

Believe Early Education: is a privately owned service in Logan Reserve. We are licensed for 140 children per day. We are seeking Diploma qualified experienced educators who are available to work 5 days a week, and able to fill a rotating roster between the hours of 6.15am to 6.30pm.

About the role

Key responsibilities

- Support the room senior educator in the development and delivery of the learning program as per the Early Years Learning Framework and service philosophy
- Welcome each child and their family to the service each day and ensure communication is meaningful
- Establish relationships and develop positive interactions with children, families, and educators
- Give each child individual attention and comfort as required
- Perform basic duties including food preparation, cleaning, and gardening
- Ensure all children are supervised at all times including during routine times such as nappy change, toileting, sleeping/resting, mealtimes and both indoor and outdoor play
- Ensure all children are protected from harm and hazard, set up learning environments safely, including relevant fall zones and surfacing for climbing equipment
- Respond to the needs of each child throughout the day and in emergency situations
- Set up environments so that they are safe, interesting and appealing to children

About you

- Relevant Cert III Qualification &/or Diploma Qualification (Approved by ACECQA)
- Current First Aid Certificate (approved by ACECQA)
- Current CPR Certificate (approved by ACECQA)
- Current Anaphylaxis Training (approved by ACECQA)
- Current Emergency Asthma Management Training (approved by ACECQA)
- Current Working with Children Check as required under legislation
- Mandatory Child Safety Training (Geccko)




- Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attend additional training as necessary
- Fit to work with children and perform manual tasks, including lifting children and other equipment using recognised safe lifting techniques, bending, twisting and getting down to child's level, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and other cleaning tasks, gardening, and extended periods of standing and sitting
- Be professional, kind, and respectful in all that you do and speak
