The Senior Leader Sustainable Growth will lead Council's Sustainable Growth team and help shape the future of the Richmond Valley region. With one of NSW's four Regional Job Precincts, strong housing demand and significant opportunities for investment and development, our region is well positioned for sustainable growth and long-term prosperity.

In this leadership role, you will oversee strategic planning, development assessment, development engineering and sustainable communities, ensuring high-quality service delivery, sound decision-making and compliance with legislative requirements.

About you

About the role

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the Sustainable Growth team in achieving Council's strategic and operational priorities; ensuring functions and outcomes of planning services, strategic planning, development engineering and sustainable communities are delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with best practice, statutory and legislative requirements.

Full time: 70-hour fortnight

Salary: Range from $123,312 to $141,809 pa + 12% superannuation + relocation allowance
