This is a globally recognised lifestyle and apparel brand with a loyal following well beyond Australia. Built on genuine creativity and a strong sense of identity, it has grown from a niche label into an internationally established name, with a product range spanning apparel, accessories and lifestyle collaborations that consistently resonate with its market.
The Australian headquarters, based in Sydney, drives wholesale and retail strategy across the ANZ region. It's a business that values authenticity over manufactured hype. People here bring genuine enthusiasm, keep things simple, and treat everyone, from buyers to teammates, with inclusivity and respect. Fast-moving and culture-first, but commercially sharp.
The Chance
This is a hunter's role with a strategist's brain. Around 60% of your performance will be measured on winning new accounts and generating new revenue, with a focus on independent retail (boutiques). The other 40% is growing the key and mid-tier accounts already on the books.
You won't be selling from behind a screen. You'll walk into independent stores, see how the product category trades, understand the customer, and work out which of our ranges belongs on that shop floor. Then you'll make the pitch, win the order, and build the account.
You'll report directly to the CEO, so your insights and results are seen and valued at the top.
What You'll Do:
- Get out and visit independent retail stores across your territory to understand each store's customer, range and what's selling
- Identify and approach the right boutiques, taking them from first conversation to first order
- Build a plan for each account: analyse its profile and sell-through, then pitch the product and range that fits
- Deliver seasonal sell-in presentations, order capture and consolidation, High-Low analysis and final PO confirmation
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing key and mid-tier accounts
- Plan and run monthly sell-through activity to move available inventory
- Manage delivery schedules, monitor in-season performance and spot reorder opportunities
- Own AR communication and collections for overdue balances: monitor ageing reports, follow up and negotiate payment terms, and elevate where needed
- Prepare collection forecasts and work closely with Finance to support cash flow forecasting
- Analyse account-level performance to flag risks early (excess inventory, slowing sales, late payments), present response plans to leadership and report to the CEO
- Plan and execute seasonal sales campaigns and product launches
- Manage partner Special Make-Up (SMU) campaigns and collaborative events or promotions that drive sell-through
What You Bring
- Proven wholesale or B2B sales experience, with a track record of opening new accounts
- Apparel, fashion or lifestyle wholesale experience so you can hold credible conversations with buyers about product, range and sell-through
- Strategic thinking: you can read an account, understand how product is trading, and build a plan to sell into it
- Real drive and energy. You're comfortable with cold approaches, walking into stores and winning people over
- Hands-on experience with accounts receivable and collections, and comfortable working with Finance
- Strong data skills and advanced Excel for account analysis and reporting
- ERP, NuORDER or Brandscope experience is highly regarded
- A good understanding of the Australian wholesale and independent retail market. An existing buyer network in fashion or lifestyle is a bonus
- A current driver's licence and a vehicle for getting to stores
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
What's on Offer
- Attractive salary packae + bonus
- Territory across Australia and New Zealand, with real ownership of how you build it
- A direct line to the CEO and senior leadership
- A values-led brand built on authenticity, enthusiasm, inclusiveness and simplicity
