About us

Cash City is a Western Australian family business established in 1992, with five stores across Guildford, Midland, Morley, Kelmscott and Northam.

We buy, sell and lend against second-hand goods, helping customers with everything from choosing jewellery and tools to selling items or arranging a short-term pawn loan.

You’ll initially join our team at Guildford, Midland or Morley. We’ll discuss your starting location during the interview.

What you’ll do

- Serve customers and sell a wide range of second-hand goods.

- Learn to assess, test and price items customers bring in.

- Negotiate purchases and explain pawn loans with training and support.

- Handle cash, process payments and keep accurate records.

- Prepare stock, create displays and keep the shop tidy.

- Help move stock, including some heavier items, using appropriate equipment and team assistance.





What we’re looking for

- A friendly, confident approach to customers and clear communication skills.

- Honesty, reliability and attention to detail.

- Good judgment and a calm, respectful approach under pressure.

- Confidence using computers, handling money and working with numbers.

- A willingness to learn, follow procedures and work as part of a team.

- Your own reliable transport to get to work.

Experience in retail, sales, customer service or second-hand goods would be practical. Previous pawnbroking experience isn’t required—we’ll teach you the role.

- Casual pay of $35 per hour, with $70 per hour on Sundays.
