Job Description
/n AGA is seeking an IT Trainee, hosted with our prominent host emoployer in Thomastown, VIC. /n Our client manages critical supply operations for the mining, construction, and manufacturing sectors. Through this 12-month paid traineeship, you will gain valuable workplace experience, complete a formal qualification, and earn while you learn. /n No previous IT experience is needed. We are simply looking for a genuine interest in technology, a positive attitude, and a robust willingness to learn. /n As an IT Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience while supporting the organisation's technology systems. Duties may include: /n /n
- Providing Level 1 IT support and assisting users with technical issues. /n
- Completing password resets and account support requests. /n
- Building, imaging, and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. /n
- Setting up and installing hardware and IT equipment. /n
- Assisting with the deployment and maintenance of computers, phones, and other devices. /n
- Working alongside team members to support administration systems and day-to-day IT operations. /n /n This role offers diverse, practical experience across a range of IT functions and serves as an excellent, supported entry point into the technology industry. /n We're looking for someone who: /n /n
- Has a genuine interest in technology and computers. /n




- Strong customer service and communication skills, developed through retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing environments, with the confidence to communicate effectively face-to-face, over the phone, and via email. /n
- Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn. /n
- Is reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. /n /n Applicants must be eligible to undertake a registered apprenticeship or traineeship in Victoria (VIC).
