Key Responsibilities:

· Provide specialist guidance in high-intensity and complex disability support.

· Review and support individualised care and support plans.

· Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to disability support staff.

· Support safe medication management and medication-related procedures.

· Monitor and identify health, medication, and participant-safety risks.

· Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, participants, families, and support teams.

· Review support documentation and recommend improvements.

· Support quality improvement, incident prevention, and safe service delivery.

· Assist management with staff capability and service-development initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

· A relevant higher education qualification in healthcare or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in healthcare, disability support, complex care, or a related environment.

· Demonstrated experience supporting people with complex health and disability needs.

· Strong knowledge of medication management, medication safety, and medication-related risk management.





· Demonstrated leadership, staff supervision, mentoring, or training experience.

· Strong understanding of individualised care planning, safety, risk management, and service quality.

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

· Solid leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

· Ability to work independently and contribute specialised knowledge and expertise to a defined service improvement project.

Desirable:

· Experience in high-intensity disability support.

· Experience developing or improving care procedures, staff training, or service-quality systems.

· Experience coordinating care with healthcare professionals.

· Experience in disability-service leadership or service coordination.
