About the Opportunities

Due to continued growth, we are seeking:

- Part-Time Cleaners
- Full-Time Cleaners
- Two Cleaning Supervisors

These hands-on positions will deliver high-quality cleaning services across a variety of client sites. Responsibilities may include general commercial cleaning, detailed cleaning, floor maintenance, periodic works and the safe use of cleaning equipment and machinery.

Our Cleaning Supervisors will provide additional on-site leadership, support and mentoring to cleaning teams while ensuring that all services are completed safely, efficiently and to Sebastian’s high standards.

Previous experience working in healthcare or aged-care environments will be highly regarded.

Evening work, shift work and periodic project work may be required depending on operational and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities – Cleaners

- Perform general and detailed cleaning in accordance with site specifications and schedules.
- Clean amenities, common areas, offices and other designated areas.
- Undertake floor cleaning and maintenance, including vacuuming, mopping and the safe use of relevant equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals, materials and machinery correctly and safely.
- Follow infection-control procedures and site-specific cleaning requirements where applicable.




- Maintain accurate records and complete required cleaning checklists.
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance concerns, incidents or equipment faults.
- Set up appropriate safety signage, barricades and wet-floor indicators.
- Maintain professional conduct and provide a consistently high standard of service.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety, company and client requirements.

Additional Responsibilities – Cleaning Supervisors

In addition to performing cleaning duties, our Cleaning Supervisors will:

- Coordinate and oversee daily cleaning activities across allocated sites.
- Ensure cleaning schedules, specifications and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Allocate duties and provide clear direction to cleaning team members.
- Conduct site inspections and address any service or performance concerns.
- Train and mentor cleaners in correct cleaning methods, machinery use, infection control and safe work practices.
- Support Customer Services Managers with scheduled and ad hoc works.
- Act as a senior on-site contact for employees, clients and management when required.
- Monitor cleaning products, consumables, equipment and stock levels.
- Ensure machinery is maintained, operated safely and checked for compliance.
- Assist with periodic and specialist cleaning, including carpets, tiles and hard floors.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report machinery requiring repair or maintenance.
- Promote a positive culture of safety, accountability, teamwork and service excellence.
- Build professional relationships with clients and respond promptly to site requirements.

Key Requirements Cleaners

- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
- A reliable, professional and positive approach to work.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules, instructions and site procedures.
- Understanding of safe chemical handling and workplace safety requirements.
- Availability to work the required roster,



which may include evenings and shift work.
- Healthcare or aged-care cleaning experience is highly regarded.

Cleaning Supervisors

- Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential.
- Previous supervisory, team-leadership or senior cleaning experience.
- Sound knowledge of cleaning equipment, machinery and specialist cleaning methods.
- Experience with floor care, carpet cleaning, periodic works and detailed cleaning.
- Ability to lead, train, support and motivate cleaning teams.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain service standards.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Healthcare or aged-care cleaning and supervisory experience is highly regarded.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working within healthcare, aged-care or other specialist environments.
- Knowledge of infection-control cleaning procedures.
- Experience operating carpet extractors, polishers, scrubbers and other specialist cleaning machinery.
- Test and Tag knowledge or experience.
- Experience conducting site inspections, quality checks and staff training.
