About the role

We are seeking a caring, reliable and detail-oriented Support Worker to provide domestic assistance in clients’ homes across Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

You will support older adults and people with disabilities to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home while respecting their routines, preferences and independence.

Key responsibilities

- Perform general household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms and other living areas.
- Assist with laundry, folding clothes and changing bed linen.
- Help with household organisation and light meal preparation as required.
- Encourage clients to participate in household tasks according to their preferences and abilities.
- Respect clients’ privacy,



belongings and individual needs.
- Follow secure cleaning practices and report any hazards or concerns.

Essential requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Police Check.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Valid identification.

About you

You are respectful, compassionate and organised, with a positive attitude and an eye for detail. You can work independently and understand the importance of providing reliable support in someone’s home. Previous experience in domestic assistance, cleaning, aged care or disability support is highly regarded.

Pay: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
