2 Positions Available | Full-Time | Doonside | From $65,000 + Super

Starlight Bakery is looking for two experienced Bakers to join our production team.

Our bakery produces a wide range of Filipino breads, pastries, cakes and baked goods, including pandesal, Spanish bread and ensaymada.

We’re looking for reliable people who are comfortable working in a busy commercial bakery or kitchen environment and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality food.

About the role

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

- Preparing and mixing doughs and other bakery products
- Portioning, shaping and preparing products for proofing
- Baking breads and pastries
- Following recipes and production schedules
- Monitoring product quality and consistency
- Preparing ingredients and maintaining stock
- Maintaining a clean and organised production area
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily requirements

About you

We’re looking for applicants who:





- Have at least 2 years’ experience in baking, commercial food production or a professional kitchen
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Have strong attention to quality and consistency
- Are reliable and work well as part of a team
- Understand food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements

Experience with Filipino breads or pastries is welcome but not essential.

Pay

Starting salary: $65,000, depending on skills and experience
