Internal Sales Representative - Home Appliances and Air Conditioning | Smithfield | $38/hr + super | Temp to Perm

Forgepoint Recruitment is hiring an Internal Sales Representative for an established home appliance and air conditioning supplier in Smithfield. It’s a full-time role, Monday to Friday with a 9:00am start, and it starts as a temp to perm chance.

You’ll be the first voice customers hear when they call. Your job is to work out what they need, match them to the right product and close the sale. It’s a sales seat with targets, so we want someone who enjoys being on the phones and likes seeing their numbers move.

What you’ll be doing

- Answering inbound sales calls and turning enquiries into orders
- Upselling and cross-selling across a range of air conditioners and home appliances
- Following up quotes and interested customers with daily outbound calls
- Processing orders and quotes accurately and giving customers order status updates
- Handling product and technical enquiries by phone and email
- Supporting the external sales team and keeping customer records up to date

What you’ll need

- At least 2 year of sales experience with targets - internal sales, inside sales or phone-based sales ideal




- Confidence on the phones, both inbound and outbound
- Accuracy with quoting and order entry
- Good skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- A technical mind - you can learn product specs and explain them simply
- Full Australian working rights
- Your own transport to Smithfield for a 9:00am start

Highly regarded

- Home appliance, appliance retail or air conditioning / HVAC experience
- Internal sales or trade counter experience with a wholesaler or supplier
- ERP or CRM experience, such as SAP
