Kippax Dental is a new growing dental practice in HOLT, Kippax Shopping Centre Area and we are looking for another staff member to join our team.

We are looking for an adaptable individual who can assist the dentist chairside. This role starts as Casual with potential to move to Full-Time for the right candidate.

Practice Name: Kippax Dental

Location: Level 1/76 Hardwick Crescent, Holt ACT 2615

Reports To: Dr. George Liao (Principal Dentist)

Role Overview

Dental experience is not mandatory, however you will need to be a fast learner, who is good at multitasking. If you are not willing to learn then you will not be suitable for this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Support (Chairside)

- Patient Prep: Greet patients and prepare them for scheduled procedures.
- Clinical Assisting: Provide assistance to the dentist, including operating suction and managing materials. Building Rapport and communicating with the patient.
- Infection Control: Clean and sterilize instruments; decontaminate treatment rooms in accordance with practice policies and ADA standards.
- Maintenance: Maintain dental equipment and monitor clinical stock levels.

Required Qualifications:





- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (favored but not essential)
- Valid right to work in Australia.

Required Skills:

- Communication: Ability to build rapport with patients and adapt communication styles for challenging situations.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to switch between clinical and desk duties under pressure.
- Professionalism: A robust work ethic, punctuality, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Team player: Has a team mindset and thinks about how they can help assist the team
- Procedural Compliance: Strict adherence to infection control

Training and mentorship will be provided to the right candidate.
