Competitive Hourly Rates

- Weekdays: $45 per hour
- Saturdays: $56 per hour
- Sundays: $72 per hour
- Public Holidays: $90 per hour

Position Details

Position: Residential Care Youth Worker
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Business Requirement: Australian Company Number (ACN)

This is a contractor opportunity, meaning you will work under your own business and ACN. If you don’t already have an ACN, we can guide you through the process of setting one up.

Your Responsibilities

As a Residential Care Youth Worker, you will:

- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people and act as a supportive role model.
- Maintain a safe, stable and nurturing residential environment.
- Support individual care plans and help young people work towards their personal goals.
- Prepare meals that meet young people’s dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide emotional support and guidance while encouraging independence, resilience and essential life skills.
- Participate in recreational,



educational and cultural activities that support social and emotional development.
- Follow relevant child safety requirements, organisational policies and reporting procedures.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who have:

- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- A current Blue Card.
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A willingness to enrol in or work towards a relevant qualification, where required.
- An existing ACN or the ability to obtain one.
- A reliable, professional and compassionate approach to working with young people.
