Dispatch Coordinator

Hiring Lab is partnering with a growing business in the commercial roofing and sheet metal fabrication industry to recruit an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to support day-to-day operations and keep projects moving efficiently.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple moving parts at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch of materials, deliveries, and site requirements
- Liaise with drivers, site teams, suppliers, and internal staff
- Manage schedules, delivery timelines, and job allocations
- Problem-solve operational issues quickly and efficiently
- Support warehouse and general operations where required
- Maintain accurate communication across projects and teams
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in dispatch, logistics, transport coordination, or a similar role
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, roofing, or related industries preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and multitask effectively
- Hands-on attitude with a willingness to support operations on the ground
- Reliable, proactive, and quick to learn
Essential Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Full Australian working rights
- Driver’s licence preferred
