Our Sports Competition Venue Manager is responsible for delivering our growing Competitions. It is a role that incorporates a multitude of different responsibilities from managing referees, customer engagement, marketing, refereeing, and administration.

About the brand

Queensland Social Sports is the Gold Coasts' fastest growing social sport business. We are recruiting for staff for our North & South Gold Coast competitions.

What are the requirements for the role?

We are seeking someone that meets the following criteria:

· Has a valid Blue Card (or is prepared to obtain one);

· Has a current First Aid/CPR qualification (or is prepared to update their qualification prior to commencement - we are happy to pay for your first aid course);

· Has a current driver's licence and access to a car;

· Can work at least two weekday evenings (ability to do four nights if you wish);

· Is comfortable refereeing games as part of the role, or willing to learn - full training will be provided;

· Has solid customer service and communication skills;

· Is reliable, organised and confident working independently; and

· Enjoys being involved in sport and working with people.

You don't need to be experienced to apply. If you're enthusiastic about sport and willing to get involved in all areas, we can provide the training you need.





Hours and responsibilities?

Hours:

· up to 20 hours for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing one or multiple weeknight sports competitions throughout Northern & Southern Gold Coast;

· Refereeing games as part of the Venue Manager role (when required);

· Supporting and coordinating referees across the competition;

· Creating a positive experience for players and teams;

· Managing competition operations and resolving issues as they arise;

· Supporting marketing and customer engagement activities;

· Completing administration and reporting as required; and

· Contributing to the ongoing growth and improvement of our competitions.
