We are currently seeking experienced, reliable and physically capable Disability Support Workers to provide daily living assistance to a participant with complex mobility and support needs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist the participant with daily transfers between bed and toilet and back to bed.
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
- Follow individualised manual-handling and transfer procedures.
- Maintain the participant's dignity, comfort, safety and independence.
- Follow all NDIS policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of disability support work experience.
- Strong experience and competency in manual handling.
- Previous experience in bariatric support or complex mobility care is highly desirable.
- Physically capable of safely performing the inherent requirements of the role.




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Excellent communication and a responsible attitude.
- Reliable, patient and committed to providing quality care.

Important:
The participant requires specialised bariatric mobility assistance. Staff must be appropriately trained and competent in using the required transfer equipment and following the participant's approved manual-handling plan.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
