Nursery Yard & Dispatch Coordinator

$35–$40 per hour + super | Permanent Full time

Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 4:00pm

About the role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team and take ownership of our busy nursery orders bay in Mornington.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a practical approach to their work and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.

You'll play an important part in our day-to-day operations, from receiving incoming stock and preparing customer orders to ensuring our trucks are loaded and ready for dispatch.

Don't have a forklift licence? No problem! We're happy to arrange forklift training for the right person.

Key responsibilities

- Receive and unload incoming stock from local and interstate suppliers.
- Check stock quality and allocate plants and trees to customer orders.
- Prepare and organise customer collections.
- Maintain the health and presentation of stock, including watering and general care.
- Prepare orders for the following day's deliveries.
- Assist drivers with loading trucks.
- Pick, pallet and prepare weekly interstate freight orders.
- Assist with local deliveries and nursery pickups when required.
- Keep the orders bay clean, organised and running efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock and dispatch records.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated and happy to get stuck in.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Good tree and plant knowledge, with previous nursery, horticulture or landscaping experience highly regarded.
- A current Australian driver's licence.




- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your area.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- The physical fitness to work outdoors in a hands-on role.

Highly regarded, but not essential:

- Forklift licence – training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing or yard operations.
- MR/HR truck licence.
