Job Title: Female Disability Support Worker – Community Access and Domestic Support

Location: Bertram, Perth, WA
Employment Type: Casual

Schedule: Monday to Sunday

- Morning: 8:00 am–12:00 pm
- Afternoon: 3:00 pm–7:00 pm

Care Link Services is seeking a reliable and caring female Disability Support Worker to provide community access and domestic support to a participant in Bertram.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the participant to access the community and attend activities and appointments.
- Assist with domestic tasks and daily routines.
- Follow the participant’s Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan.
- Provide epilepsy and seizure management support in accordance with the participant’s care plan and relevant training.
- Assist with diabetes management where required, within your training and scope of practice.
- Encourage independence, choice and participation.
- Complete accurate shift notes and report concerns to management.

Essential Requirements

- Experience supporting people with epilepsy and intellectual disability.
- Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.




- National Police Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Reliable, punctual and available for the advertised shifts.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Desirable

- Training and practical experience in diabetes management.
- Training and practical experience in seizure management.
