About the role
Specialty Foods is seeking a Meat Packer & Processor to join our team in Thebarton, SA 5031. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, packaging and preparing meat products to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a crucial part in our production line, ensuring that all products meet our strict quality standards and are prepared for distribution to our customers. What you'll be doing
- Processing meat products using industry-standard equipment and techniques
- Packaging meat products in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards
- Operating meat processing machinery safely and efficiently
- Adhering to strict food hygiene and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Conducting regular cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment What we're looking for
- Prior experience in meat processing or a similar food production environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene requirements
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to work safely with sharp tools and processing machinery
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different tasks within the production environment
- A valid working visa or Australian citizenship
- Desirable: Food handling certification or relevant qualifications in food processing
