Not your average hospitality job. One day you're serving gelato at a wedding, the next you're setting up for a food festival, corporate event or brand activation. In between, you're keeping our events operation organised and making sure everything runs smoothly. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Events Supervisor to help run Messina events across Queensland. It's a varied role with plenty of independence, a bit of physical work and lots of interaction with people. You'll need to be just as comfortable organising equipment and driving our gelato van as you are chatting to customers and scooping our delicious gelato. What you'll be doing
- Running events from setup through to pack-down
- Delivering, setting up and collecting equipment for weddings, festivals, parties and corporate events
- Communicating with clients before events to confirm arrangements
- Keeping our events warehouse, equipment and stock organised
- Serving our gelato and making sure customers have a great experience
- Jumping into our retail stores when needed What we're looking for You don't necessarily need events experience, but you do need to be organised,



dependable and happy to get stuck in. Ideally, you're someone who:
- Has hospitality, events or customer service experience
- Is confident working independently
- Is friendly, outgoing and genuinely enjoys working with people
- Doesn't mind physical work, lifting equipment and being on their feet
- Has a valid driver's licence and is confident driving a van
- Can work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends The good stuff
- Around 20–35 casual hours per week, with the potential for more during our busy summer season
- A mix of events, warehouse and retail work — no two weeks are quite the same
- A outstanding team, interesting events and, naturally, plenty of free gelato

Casual Pay: $34.76 – $51.54 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
