Patrick's Bakery is a busy bakery and café in Regents Park where coffee is at the heart of what we do. You'll be working on a La Marzocco Linea PB with Mazzer grinders and Bellissimo beans, serving a high volume of specialty coffee every day. We're offering 38 hours a week across five to six shifts, on a casual basis. Early starts mean early afternoon finishes, with no nights.

About the role

- Run the coffee machine during peak periods, with full ownership of quality and speed
- Dial in grinders each morning and keep extraction and taste consistent all day
- Produce café-quality coffee at volume without dropping standards
- Keep the coffee station spotless and well organised
- As part of a small team, you'll also open and close the store and help with general bakery tasks, such as making sandwiches, when needed About you
- Several years of barista experience in a high-volume specialty café
- Strong understanding of extraction, including weighing doses and yields and timing shots, plus dialling in and milk texture
- Can stay quick and consistent through a long morning rush
- Reliable,

- Available on weekends (required) and comfortable with early starts
- Availability for weekday shifts during business hours (essential)
- Current Queensland driver's licence and your own vehicle (essential, due to early starts)
- Full Australian working rights (essential, visa sponsorship is not available)
- Fluent English Highly regarded
- Excellent latte art
- Specialty or competition-level coffee experience What's on offer
- $34.76 per hour, casual, plus weekend penalty rates under the Fast Food Industry Award
- 38 hours a week, with early finishes and no nights
