Cook / Chef / kitchen Manager

We are looking for a passionate cook with kitchen experience to be solid driver of our purpose-built burger & beer restaurant.

We are a vibrant and unique brand that is very different to the generic brands and have a strong focus on quality, handmade food, sourced from local suppliers prepared fresh instore daily.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Instore training of kitchen staff to adapt kitchen standards and procedures

· Strong and professional communication and leadership skills on all levels

· Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm and calculated during peak service periods

· Ensuring compliance with food handling, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

· Follow recommended guidelines to ensure recipes are being followed





· Be a hands-on cook that is willing to lead by example

· Embrace monthly specials, give input, and submit ideas where relevant

· Most of all be engaged with a positive attitude and the ability to use constructive feedback in order to run a tight ship

Pay: $33.05 – $39.66 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
