Vision Solutions Windows and Doors are looking for a Factory Hand / Saw Operator to join our team at our modern Chevallum facility.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play an important part in our production process, preparing and cutting aluminium, organising stock, and helping keep our factory running smoothly.

About Us

At Vision Solutions Windows and Doors, we manufacture premium AWS aluminium windows and doors for residential and commercial projects across the Sunshine Coast and Northern Brisbane.

We've been operating from our modern Chevallum facility and it's been purpose-built to support efficient production and quality workmanship. With organised work areas, plenty of space, and a strong focus on doing things properly, we've created a workplace where people can do their best work without battling clutter, confusion, or chaos.

Role Responsibilities

- Unload aluminium deliveries and organise stock for production.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the factory (Forklift Licence highly preferred).
- Sort, store, and prepare aluminium extrusions for upcoming jobs.
- Cut aluminium accurately using production saws and cutting equipment.




- Read production schedules and ensure materials are prepared on time.
- Assist with basic fabrication and assembly tasks as required.
- Load and unload glass, aluminium, and finished products safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workshop.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure materials are cut correctly, ready for manufacture and are up to standard.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in a factory, manufacturing, aluminium, or construction environment.
- Forklift Licence (LF) highly preferred or willingness to get one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to measure accurately.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
- Ability to follow production schedules and instructions.
- Valuable attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience with aluminium fabrication is beneficial but not essential

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

- AWS window & door system knowledge.
- Experience operating production saws or other workshop machinery.
- Experience reading production schedules, cut lists, or workshop drawings.
- Strong stock control and organisational skills.
- The habit of identifying problems before they turn into everyone's problem.
