Female Support Worker Wanted | Cronulla, NSW

B2J Care is looking for a compassionate, experienced female Support Worker to provide personalised support to a female client in Cronulla.

We are seeking someone calm, patient and understanding who can build a trusting relationship and help create a safe, comfortable home environment.

Location: Cronulla, NSW
Shifts: Mondays and Fridays, late afternoon
Hours: 5–8 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours
Payment: $39 per hour + superannuation (ABN arrangement)

Key Responsibilities

- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Assist with showering and personal care while respecting privacy and dignity.
- Assist with light household duties.
- Prepare simple meals.
- Gently encourage daily routines and self-care.
- Build a consistent, trusting relationship while respecting the client's pace and personal boundaries.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a female Support Worker, preferably aged 35 or older, who has the life experience and maturity to connect with an older client.

The ideal candidate will be:

- Gentle,



calm, patient and soft-spoken.
- A good listener who is empathetic, respectful and non-judgmental.
- Experienced in trauma-informed care and comfortable providing personal care professionally.
- Respectful of personal boundaries, privacy and dignity.
- Able to provide encouragement without pressure, particularly on difficult days.
- Warm and approachable, while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

Experience supporting people with complex emotional needs is highly regarded.
