## About the Opportunity Flight Training Adelaide Queensland (FTA) is looking for a reliable and motivated General Services Officer to join our Residential Services and Maintenance team at Wellcamp. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining well-presented facilities and is comfortable working independently. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our grounds, gardens and outdoor areas, while supporting general maintenance activities to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean and well maintained. We're open to both full-time and casual employment arrangements, depending on the successful candidate's experience and availability. ## What You'll Be Doing Reporting to the Manager Residential Services and Maintenance, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining lawns, gardens and landscaped areas through mowing, edging, pruning and watering.
- Undertaking general gardening activities, including planting, weeding, mulching and fertilising.
- Maintaining irrigation systems and monitoring plant health.
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment, including mowers, trimmers and blowers.
- Keeping outdoor areas, pathways and surrounding facilities clean, tidy and presentable.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues and assisting with general upkeep across the site.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace procedures.




- Other duties as require ## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is practical, dependable and takes initiative. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, groundskeeping or general maintenance.
- Confidence using gardening tools, machinery and equipment safely.
- A good understanding of basic garden care and grounds maintenance.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- The ability to work independently, manage your time and prioritise tasks.
- A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- The ability to safely undertake the physical requirements of the role, with reasonable adjustments where required.
