CHEFS WANTED – HUZZAH GLEN IRIS Huzzah is a neighbourhood bar, restaurant and all weather beer garden in Glen Iris and we're gearing up for a big summer ahead. We're building our kitchen team and looking for great chefs across multiple levels to join us. Whether you're an experienced chef ready for your next challenge or looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you. THE FOOD Our menu is built around seasonal produce, honest cooking and generous, flavour-packed dishes. We bring together familiar pub favourites and contemporary dishes, keeping things approachable, fresh and consistently well executed. We're always looking at ways to improve what we do, with plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas, develop your skills and be part of the evolution of our menu. WHAT YOU'LL BE PART OF A busy, well-equipped kitchen with a supportive team, a varied menu and a venue that comes alive during the warmer months. From busy weekend services to Sunday roasts, events and group bookings, there's plenty happening and no two shifts are quite the same. We're conveniently located in Glen Iris, close to the train station, making getting to and from work easy. We want people who take pride in their work, look after their teammates and enjoy being part of a kitchen that values quality, consistency and a good working culture. ROLES AVAILABLE Sous Chefs Support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations, lead services, help develop the menu, mentor junior chefs and maintain food quality, consistency and kitchen standards. Chefs de Partie Take ownership of your section, deliver consistent cooking and presentation,



maintain high food safety standards and help keep service running smoothly. Commis Chefs and Junior Chefs Build your skills across different sections, learn from an experienced team and develop your confidence in a busy commercial kitchen. - Passionate about good food and proud of what you put on the plate.
- Reliable, organised and able to keep your cool during busy services.
- A team player who communicates well and looks after the people around them.
- Keen to learn, improve and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
- Experienced in a commercial kitchen, with experience suited to the role you're applying for.
