About Us

NQ Party Hire is a local event hire business supplying equipment and marquee solutions for a wide range of events across Townsville and surrounding areas. We’re looking for reliable and hardworking casual labourers to join our team and assist with the delivery, installation and pack-down of event equipment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, physically active role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team and working in a fast-paced environment. Work will vary depending on event bookings, with flexible casual hours available, including early starts and weekends as required.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with marquee installations and dismantling.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Delivering, setting up and packing down tables, chairs and other event hire equipment.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is handled and stored correctly.
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team.
- Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as required.

Skills and Requirements

- Current driver's licence – essential.
- A reliable, punctual and positive attitude.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling duties.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.




- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for flexible casual hours, including weekends and early mornings when required.

Highly regarded, but not essential:

- Previous marquee installation or event hire experience.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).

Training can be provided to the right applicant who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
