The Movement Clinic Sydney (TMCS)

Help people move better, recover stronger and live healthier – join our growing team!

We're looking for a motivated, proactive and experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to join our multidisciplinary team, working across our Marsden Park and Castle Hill clinics.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours, to be discussed and agreed upon based on your availability and the needs of our clinics.

If you're passionate about evidence-based exercise rehabilitation, enjoy working collaboratively with other health professionals, and are eager to develop both professionally and personally, we'd love to hear from you!

About Us

The Movement Clinic Sydney (TMCS) is a progressive physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice with two established clinics in Marsden Park (since 2022) and Castle Hill (since 2010).

We're committed to growing and continuously improving through high-quality patient care, strong community connections and a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to rehabilitation.

Our two locations offer different but complementary clinical environments:

- Marsden Park: A modern, purpose-built clinic in Elara Shopping Village, featuring private treatment rooms and a fully equipped 55 m² rehabilitation gym. Located within a thriving medical hub alongside GPs, radiology, dentistry and other healthcare providers.
- Castle Hill: An established clinic located inside Fitness First at Castle Towers Shopping Centre, offering direct access to extensive gym facilities and an active fitness community, creating excellent opportunities for exercise-based rehabilitation and performance-focused programs.

Across both locations, you'll work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Remedial Massage Therapists, all sharing the same goal: helping people move better, recover stronger and achieve lasting health outcomes.

Your Role

As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist at TMCS, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the continued development of our rehabilitation services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering comprehensive exercise physiology assessments and individualised, evidence-based rehabilitation programs.
- Managing a varied caseload, including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, metabolic disorders and general rehabilitation.
- Providing rehabilitation services for Workers Compensation, CTP, Medicare, NDIS, DVA and private patients.
- Collaborating closely with our Physiotherapists and other practitioners to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Developing and delivering individual and small-group exercise programs.
- Educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, progress reports and treatment plans in accordance with professional and funding requirements.
- Building strong relationships with patients, local healthcare providers and community organisations.
- Taking initiative and actively contributing to the growth and ongoing improvement of our clinics.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings more than just clinical knowledge. We value initiative, excellent communication, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Essential requirements:

- Degree-qualified Exercise Physiologist with current ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in private practice or a multidisciplinary setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning and confidence in exercise prescription and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to take ownership of your caseload.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.

Highly regarded:

- Experience managing Workers Compensation and CTP patients.
- Experience with clinical reporting, treatment plans and insurer communication.
- Experience delivering group exercise programs.
- An interest in developing community relationships and growing rehabilitation services.

What We Offer

- Competitive remuneration: $70,000–$90,000 annual base salary (full-time equivalent), plus superannuation, pro rata based on agreed part-time hours and experience.
- Flexible part-time hours: Working days and hours to be discussed and mutually agreed upon.
- Two established clinic locations: Enjoy the variety of working across Marsden Park and Castle Hill, each offering unique patient populations and rehabilitation opportunities.
- Excellent clinical facilities: Access to dedicated rehabilitation spaces, gym equipment and private consultation rooms.
- Strong internal referral opportunities: Work closely with Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.
- Professional and business development support: Regular opportunities for feedback, guidance and professional growth.
- Diverse clinical caseload: Gain experience across musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic disease management, injury recovery and exercise-based health programs.
- Career development opportunities: Be part of a growing business that encourages initiative, fresh ideas and continuous improvement.
- Supportive team environment: Join a friendly, motivated and cooperative team that values empathy, excellence, empowerment and teamwork.
