Individualised Community Access Services (ICAS) are seeking multiple experienced employees for our clients in Loganlea. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and about supporting our clients in their SIL house.

We are seeking those with wide availability including day, evening, sleepover shifts and weekends.

Our clients are non-verbal, non-mobile who require assistance with all aspects of their lives. This role requires the ability to work to a roster and requires experience with high intensity supports, including complex bowel care, dysphagia, epilepsy, medication, complex wound care, manual handling and PEG. Preference will be given to those already with hands on experience in these areas.

The position description is prepared by the client and we are seeking multiple candidates with the following skillset:

- Provide personal care (continence, feeding and bathing) to the clients
- Preferably a mature female (client requested)
- Assist clients for all aspects of daily living.
- Experience with hoist, wheelchairs, dysphagia, PEG, complex bowel care, manual handling, medication and epilepsy is preferred, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Physically able to maneuver wheelchair and use a hoist.
- A caring,



nurturing persona with plenty of patience.

Working in a team in a SIL/SDA environment, multiple positions and shift opportunities available.

Requirements -

- A passion and willingness to assist.
- CPR and First Aid .
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
- Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement).
- Manual Handling training
- Medication competency
- PEG training
- High Intensity support training - complex bowel care, complex wound care, severe dysphagia.
- Commitment to ongoing training and career development.

Pay: $44.00 – $50.00 per hour
