Navicare Coordination is a small, local boutique Support Coordination business and a registered NDIS provider based in Cairns. We started a couple of years ago with one simple purpose: to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. We're not driven by profit. We're driven by doing great work for our participants, and we look after the people who do it.

You won't find us on social media. We've grown quietly through word of mouth, and we'd like to think our work speaks for itself.

The role

We're looking for an experienced Support Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis. You'll manage your own caseload, build genuine relationships with participants, and help them get the most out of their NDIS plans. Robust ethics are at the heart of everything we do, so we're looking for someone with integrity who always acts in the best interests of participants.

Hours are flexible, and you can build your caseload depending on how many participants you'd like to take on.

To start with, we ask new team members to work in person with us on Mondays and Tuesdays for training. After that, we usually catch up face to face as a team on Mondays.




- Sustainable workload. Our team typically works three to four days a week, and we generally keep Fridays free. We know this work takes a mental toll, and we take wellbeing seriously.
- Pay. Competitive, above the SCHADS Award, and based on experience. We'll discuss it at a face-to-face interview.

This role suits someone who is self-motivated and disciplined. Our flexibility works because everyone on the team takes ownership of their work and follows through with care and reliability. You'll enjoy the freedom of managing your own time and caseload. We need someone who can hit the ground running.

Essential requirements

- Proven experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
