Studio Coordinator | Cottee Parker Architects
Be the face of our Brisbane studio and play a key role in keeping our people, projects and practice running smoothly.
Cottee Parker Architects is looking for a proactive, organised and personable Studio Coordinator to join our Brisbane team.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy professional environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
More than a traditional reception role, you'll be involved in studio operations, business administration,
marketing support and coordinating activities across the practice.
About the Role
As our Studio Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our Brisbane studio, creating a welcoming and professional experience for clients, visitors and staff.
Working closely with our General Manager, Directors and Marketing team, you'll provide essential day-to-day support while helping coordinate the many moving parts of a busy architectural practice.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception, incoming calls and front-of-house activities.
- Coordinating meetings, calendars, travel arrangements and catering.
- Keeping the studio organised, well-presented and running efficiently.
- Assisting Directors with the preparation and formatting of fee proposals.
- Supporting the Marketing team with events, marketing materials and business development activities.
- Coordinating studio functions, staff events and practice initiatives.
- Assisting with new starter onboarding, professional registrations and training administration.
- Providing general administrative support to the General Manager and Directors.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make everyday operations more efficient.
About You
We're looking for someone who is approachable, resourceful and genuinely enjoys being the person others can rely on.
You'll be comfortable juggling different priorities, working with a range of personalities and taking initiative without always needing direction.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience in reception, office coordination, administration or business support.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, friendly and welcoming approach.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Experience in architecture, design, construction or another professional services environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
Experience with Adobe InDesign, PandaDoc or Monday.com would also be highly regarded.
Why Join Cottee Parker Architects?
At Cottee Parker Architects, we believe great outcomes come from great people working together.
You'll be part of a collaborative architectural practice where your contribution is valued and where no two days are quite the same.
What you can look forward to:
- A welcoming, collaborative and professional studio environment.
- A varied role with exposure to studio operations, marketing and business support.
- Working closely with our leadership and wider national teams.
- Opportunities to develop your skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Being part of our One Studio culture, where collaboration and connection matter.
