About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, supplier relationships, production planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) coordination.

This role requires someone who can take full ownership of supply chain operations, anticipate potential issues before they arise, and ensure products are manufactured, shipped, and delivered efficiently while maintaining optimal inventory levels and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management & Demand Forecasting

- Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses and fulfilment locations.
- Develop accurate inventory forecasts based on historical sales, demand trends, and projected growth.
- Monitor stock availability and proactively prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across all systems.
- Establish reorder points, safety stock levels, and inventory replenishment strategies.
- Provide regular reporting on inventory health, stock coverage, and projected stockout dates.

2. Supplier & Manufacturing Management

- Manage relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and production partners.
- Oversee purchase orders from initial placement through production and final delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, production timelines, payment terms, and supply agreements.
- Track manufacturing progress and ensure production deadlines are met.
- Identify potential production delays and implement solutions proactively.
- Ensure product quality standards and specifications are consistently maintained.

3. Logistics & Freight Management

- Coordinate international and domestic freight shipments.
- Manage freight forwarders, shipping agents, and logistics providers.
- Optimise shipping methods to balance cost, delivery speed, and inventory requirements.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to warehouses.
- Manage customs clearance, shipping documentation, and import/export requirements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight and logistics expenses.

4. Warehouse & 3PL Management

- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and warehouse partners.
- Monitor fulfilment performance, order processing times, and shipping accuracy.
- Ensure warehouses have adequate inventory to meet customer demand.
- Identify and resolve fulfilment bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
- Monitor warehouse service-level agreements (SLAs) and hold logistics partners accountable.
- Coordinate inbound inventory shipments and warehouse receiving schedules.

5. Supply Chain Planning & Optimisation

- Develop and maintain an end-to-end supply chain planning process.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Build systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop contingency plans for supplier delays, shipping disruptions, and unexpected changes in demand.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance, lead times, and logistics costs.
- Implement scalable processes to support business growth.

6. Reporting & Communication

- Prepare weekly supply chain performance reports.
- Provide clear updates on inventory availability, incoming shipments, production timelines, and potential risks.
- Communicate proactively with relevant departments regarding inventory and supply chain developments.
- Maintain accurate purchase order trackers, shipment schedules, and inventory forecasts.
- Escalate operational issues early and provide recommended solutions.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, inventory planning, or a related role.
- Proven experience managing suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Strong understanding of inventory forecasting, demand planning, and procurement.
- Experience coordinating international freight and managing production timelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, organisational,

and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of operational outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with high-volume e-commerce or consumer product businesses.
- Familiarity with Shopify, inventory management platforms, warehouse management systems, and ERP software.
- Experience managing international suppliers and manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of inventory turnover, landed costs, cash flow, and working capital management.
- Experience implementing supply chain automation and process improvements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured through:

- Inventory Availability: Maintaining sufficient inventory to prevent avoidable stockouts.
- Forecast Accuracy: Ensuring inventory forecasts closely align with actual demand.
- On-Time Deliveries: Ensuring production and freight shipments arrive according to schedule.
- Fulfilment Performance: Maintaining strong warehouse order-processing times and shipping accuracy.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes complete ownership of their responsibilities and operates proactively rather than reactively.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple stakeholders, and making informed decisions independently.

The right person will not simply report problems. They will anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and take responsibility for ensuring the supply chain operates smoothly.

Our ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and capable of building a reliable, efficient, and scalable supply chain operation.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $950,000.00 per year
