Cooking Teacher – Italian Cuisine Al Dente Cooking School, Billanook Estate

Do you have a passion for Italian food and a love of sharing it with others? Al Dente Cooking School at Billanook Estate is looking for a warm, knowledgeable cooking teacher to join our team and guide our guests through hands-on Italian cooking classes.

We welcome applications from all kinds of cooks. Whether you’re a qualified chef, an experienced cook, a talented home cook, or a nonna with treasured family recipes passed down through generations, if you cook Italian food with heart and skill, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

Each class is a complete experience, from the first chop to the last plate. Your duties will include:

- Setting up the kitchen and workstations before each class, including preparing ingredients and equipment
- Leading and instructing classes, demonstrating techniques and helping students of all skill levels create authentic Italian dishes
- Sitting down with the class to share the meal they’ve prepared together, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere




- Cleaning and resetting the kitchen after each class

About you

- Skilled in Italian cuisine, with a genuine love for its traditions, ingredients and techniques
- A confident, friendly communicator who can explain things clearly and patiently
- Comfortable working with groups and making every guest feel at home
- Organised, reliable and happy to take care of the practical side of running a class
- Flexible with your availability, as classes can run any day of the week and most often on Saturdays and Sundays

Pay This is a casual position, with pay rates based on experience.
