Mackay Northern Beaches State High School is seeking two collaborative and student-focused teachers who is committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learners.

We are seeking a passionate teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible, teaching Year 7-12 Inclusion (Special Education) and Year 7-10 Mathematics. This is a classroom teaching role supporting students with additional learning needs in small-group classes, particularly in Mathematics and English. The role would suit teachers who are passionate about supporting diverse learners, building foundational literacy and numeracy skills, and adapting teaching to meet individual student needs. Primary-trained teachers are encouraged to apply, as their expertise in differentiating learning, explicit instruction and developing foundational skills would be highly valued in this setting.

We are also seeking an English/Essential English/Humanities and Social Sciences/Social and Community Studies teacher for a 2027 commencement. Experience teaching English is essential, with the ability to teach Humanities viewed favourably. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and beginning or early career teachers with an English background, with strong mentoring and support available.
