HunterNet Career Connections is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our host company in Tomago as a 1st Year Apprentice Boilermaker.

This is an excellent chance for someone looking to kick-start their career in engineering and fabrication. The successful applicant will undertake a four-year apprenticeship, working towards a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, while gaining valuable hands‐on experience and developing practical skills alongside experienced industry professionals.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with general fabrication and welding tasks
Grinding, cleaning and preparing surfaces for fabrication
Carrying out general repairs and maintenance of products and materials
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality
Attending TAFE and applying your learning in the workplace




Following workplace procedures and maintaining a protected working environment
Completing additional tasks and duties as directed by management

A strong mechanical aptitude and sound mathematical skills
A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work

As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
