WearecurrentlyhiringforoneourclientbasedinAustralia,we'relookingforahighlyorganised,systems-drivenOperations VAtoworkdirectlywiththeCEOofthecompanyandcoordinatetheoperationalengineoftheiraccountingpractice.

Thisrolesitsfirmlywithintheaccountingdomain. YoumustunderstandAustralianbookkeepingandmanagementaccountingfundamentals. However,thisisnotastandaloneclientaccountantrole.

Yourfocuswillbe:
Operationalexecution
Workflowcoordination
Systemmanagement
Capacityoversight

Thisisanindependentcontributorroleforsomeonewhothrivesinstructuredenvironments,respectssystems,andknowshowtoimproveefficiencywithoutdisruptingoperationalstability.

KeyResponsibilities
Organise,assign,track,andmonitortasksthroughClickUp.
Monitorteamcapacityandensureworkisdeliveredaccordingtoclientagreementsanddeadlines.
MaintainorganiseddocumentationandfilingsystemswithinGoogleWorkspace.
AssisttheCEOwithoperationalplanning,prioritisation,summaries,andinternalinitiatives.




Trackactionitemsandensuretasksarefollowedthroughandcompleted.
Conductpreliminaryqualitychecksonreconciliations,coding,andworkpapers.
Monitorscopeadherenceandflaganyout-of-scopework.
Assistwithtrackingagedreceivablesandotherinternaloperationalmatters.
Stepinandsupporthands-onwhenneededtokeepimportantdeadlinesontrack.
Supporttheonboardingofnewteammembersintocompanytoolsandworkflows.

Must-HaveQualifications
Backgroundinoperations,practicemanagement,adminVAorexecutivesupportwithinanaccountingfirm
StrongunderstandingofAustralianbookkeepingfundamentals(GST,BAS,payroll,super,month-end)
Hands-onexperiencewithClickUp(dashboards,workflows,templates)
ExperiencewithXero,QuickBooksOnlineand/orMYOB
Systems-orientedmindsetwithrespectforexistingframeworks
Abilitytooperateindependentlywithoutclosesupervision
