Role Description The Early Childhood Teacher will plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning programs for children in line with relevant early years frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing curriculum activities, observing and documenting children’s learning, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom workplace, and supporting each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. The role also involves building robust relationships with families, communicating about children’s progress, and collaborating with other educators and leadership on program improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.



Administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and participation in staff meetings and professional learning are part of the position. This is an on-site role located in Geelong, VIC.

Qualifications
Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education and a strong understanding of relevant early years learning frameworks.
Demonstrated Teaching experience in early childhood settings and confidence in leading a classroom or group.
Proven ability in Working With Children, including maintaining protected, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
Skills in Curriculum Development and Child Development, with the ability to design and adapt programs to individual and group needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues.
Current Working With Children Check and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in early childhood education.
Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage documentation and administrative responsibilities.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice, and inclusive, culturally responsive education.
