About the role

You'll analyse, implement, maintain and support NEXA's systems, network infrastructure and security controls, working with customers, end users, vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable, secure and well-documented technology solutions. You'll report to the Support and Maintenance Manager as part of the Support Team.

What you'll do
Analyse and interpret systems and network architecture specifications to support integration of hardware, software and communications systems
Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, servers and workstations
Monitor network performance, capacity and usage trends, and diagnose and resolve system and network faults
Provide support for SQL Server, IIS and application servers, including configuration and performance optimisation
Implement and administer security protocols, access controls and backup procedures,



and manage security updates and patch deployments
Provide incident response and troubleshooting for system and security-related issues
Gather and document client requirements and recommend technology-based improvements
Prepare and maintain network documentation, asset inventories, change logs and configuration records

What you'll bring
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Support Analyst role or related field
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) and Windows server environments
Working knowledge of SQL Server and IIS
Understanding of security controls, patching and backup procedures
Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills, with transparent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
Attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping

Pay: $78,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
