We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised

Accounts Payable Assistant

to join our account team in Kings Park. In this full time role within

the kitchen and joinery industry , you will play a part in managing our vendor relationships, processing and uploading invoices accurately in

Xero , handling exact job costing using our custom

MS Access-based company software , and ensuring timely payment to support our daily business operations. Key Responsibilities

Job Costing: Allocate, track, and cost vendor invoices (materials, hardware, and trade subcontractors) accurately to specific joinery projects using our internal Access-based software. Invoice Uploads: Batch, enter, and upload high volumes of processed invoices directly into Xero, ensuring seamless cross-system data integrity. Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and code a high volume of vendor invoices and expense claims. Matching & Verification: Perform three-way matching of invoices, delivery advice/s and purchase orders. Payment Preparation: Assist with the preparation of weekly payment runs. Vendor Relations: Respond to supplier inquiries and reconcile to vendor statements.



Record Keeping: Maintain neat and accurate electronic filing systems for all financial documents. Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an account payable role. Software Skills: Competency in MS Excel alongside general exposure to accounting systems.

Xero experience is a plus, but not essential

as training will be provided. Attention to detail: High level of accuracy when handling large volumes of numerical data across multiple project codes. Communication: Transparent verbal and written communication skills for professional vendor interaction. Adaptability: Willingness to quickly pick up new cloud accounting workflows and systems.
