The Gong Gan Korean pantry at Kew East is seeking for an inspired and sous chef.

We are proudly serving traditional Korean food and service from 2024.

Our recipes come from traditional backgrounds that are a representation of the love and excellent ingredients that define who we are.

We are looking for someone who has over 5 years of experience in any cousins, Key Responsibilities:
Creative and innovative approach to menu development and food presentation
Managing the kitchen's budget, controlling food costs, and minimising waste
Rostering
Stock control and ordering processes
Lead a team that deliver outcomes by ensuring each dish reflects the authenticity and bold flavours of Korean
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices




Ability to build and maintain affective relationships
Hire, train, and supervise all kitchen team
Flexibly to work from 8am to 5pm weekdays,
Full time position (at least 38 hours per week)
Salary $78,000 AUD per year plus supper
