A barista cafe all-rounder is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and beverages, as well as assisting in the overall operations of the cafe. This role involves multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment. Duties may include:
Greeting and taking orders from customers in a friendly and productive manner
Making and serving a variety of coffee and beverages, ensuring they are prepared to high standards
Taking payment and handling cash transactions accurately
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
Stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
Providing information on menu items and making recommendations to customers
Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
Following health and safety guidelines and maintaining a secure work environment




Assisting with other duties as needed, such as answering phone calls, coordinating orders, and helping with inventory management.

A successful barista cafe all-rounder should have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow in the position.
