Mechanical Fitter – Day Shift | General Engineering & Assembly

Pay Rate: $57–$60 per hour + super

Employment Type: Casual – Long-Term Assignment Through to January

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established general engineering and manufacturing workplace. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable tradesperson with strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills to secure a long-term casual assignment through to January.

Working on day shift, you will be involved in a variety of general engineering tasks, mechanical assembly and fitting work within a hands-on workshop environment.

Immediate interviews are available, with an ASAP start for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of components and equipment
Carrying out general engineering and workshop duties
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings




Using hand and power tools to complete assembly work
Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work workplace

About You
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or relevant mechanical fitting experience
Experience in general engineering, mechanical assembly or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team
Available to commence ASAP and commit to the assignment through to January
