Senior CDP – Savoury

We’re looking for a Senior Chef de Partie (CDP) to lead and develop our savoury offering at our Barangaroo location.

This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys having creative autonomy and wants to take ownership of a section while working within a supportive team.

The role

You’ll be responsible for developing and driving all things savoury, including:
Sandwiches, including selecting and developing the bread offering
Pie and roll fillings
Focaccia and pizza flavours
Approximately 10–12 core menu items in total

You’ll have full autonomy over the savoury menu, with support from our Head who oversees and signs off on all new items before they go into service.

You’ll work as part of a small team of two — you and another CDP — reporting directly to our Head Chef. The section is relatively hands-off, giving you the freedom to run your area, make decisions and put your own ideas into practice, while having support available when you need it.





The Barangaroo savoury section also services our George Street shop, so this is a role with a good level of volume and production.

Hours

Monday – Thursday
5:30am – 4:00pm

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid CDP-level experience, ideally with a strong savoury background
Enjoys menu development and creating recent products
Is confident working independently and taking ownership
Can manage volume and consistency across multiple products
Enjoys working in a small, cooperative team
Wants the freedom to put their own stamp on a menu
