El Dorado Recycling is a growing recycling company specialising in bin hire, construction waste removal, and recycling services across Melbourne.

We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and reliable Allocator to join our team at our Laverton North facility.

This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating daily operations, problem-solving and working in a busy workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and allocate daily skip bin and hook bin deliveries, collections and changeovers.
Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure efficient daily operations.
Manage incoming enquiries and bin requests.
Communicate with drivers, clients and site supervisors regarding bookings and delivery schedules.
Monitor bin availability, locations and movements.
Manage last-minute booking changes, delays and urgent requests.
Maintain accurate records of bin movements, job allocations and completed deliveries.
Work closely with management and yard staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Assist with general administrative and operational duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in transport allocation, logistics, dispatch or waste management (highly regarded).
Solid organisational and time management skills.




Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Confidence using computers, scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of Melbourne suburbs and road networks.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience allocating skip bins, hook bins or trucks within the waste management industry will be highly advantageous.
