Our client is seeking to employ a Pharmacist / Pharmacist Intern to join their team at their pharmacy located in Deception Bay, Queensland 4508. This is a full time position and not suitable for a locum pharmacist.

The Business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
To maintain appropriate ethical standards in relation to the Pharmacy
Dispense prescriptions in accordance with Pharmacy Board Regulations
Record and complete all dispensing in accordance with HIC Requirements
Counselling of patients on the use of their prescriptions as necessary
Report errors, discrepancies or breaches of ethics that may occur in relation to the pharmacy to the pharmacy/pharmacist manager or franchise owner
Maintain & order dispensary stock in accordance with the pharmacy policies and procedures
Regular checking of product ‘use by’ dates and the rotation of older stock to the front of stock displays
Ensure that Dangerous Drugs are handled and recorded according to relevant state regulations
Supervise the sale and handling of all scheduled medicines, ensuring these are handled correctly,



following PSA Pharmacist Only and Pharmacy Only Medicines
Be available to other team members, where requested, to assist in dealing with customers

We are looking for
A skilled with a friendly and positive disposition at all times.
Personal presentation of a high standard at all times.
Has a positive working relationship with peers and work colleagues
Is willing and able to do shift work including working over weekends and on public holidays in accordance with the business trading hours.
Has excellent communication skills with customers and pays attention to detail.
