We are looking to strengthen our existing teams, with a qualified Restaurant Manager.

About the role

The Marion is one of Canberra’s best-known venues for high tea, weddings and corporate events. We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take full operational charge of the venue. This role works nights and weekends.

The role
Run day-to-day operations across high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events
Lead, roster, train and develop the front-of-house team
Work closely with the General Manager, Events and Kitchen to make sure every event runs smoothly




Keep service standards and venue presentation high, and handle guest feedback
Drive revenue, control costs and manage compliance (WHS, RSA)

About you
Proven experience as a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager in premium hospitality
A warm, approachable personality, comfortable with both guests and team
Confident, hands-on leader who takes full ownership of operations
Excellent spoken and written English
Robust organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
Available to work nights and weekends, including every weekend, public holidays and peak event periods
